I was born and raised a little outside of Chicago,Illinois, in a sort of crazy midwestern family. I tried just about every sport but didnt like any. I found my way through music and subversive underground culture. Heavy doses of punk rock and parties, working with friends on fanzines and organizing small concerts was pretty much all i did during my late teens. Through a strange series of events i discovered the amazing world of tattooing! It blew my mind in a way that is only comparable to a kid in a toy store with a gold card! i fell in love with it completely and spent the next 14 years working my brains out! I cant say what i like the most about it, it changes over the years, but i guess, its still the contact with the customers and the satisfaction that comes with making a nice design and someone happy.
If i would say that i was searching for more work in this direction or that, i would be exaggerating. I have a great bunch of diverse projects on great people, which is how i like it, mix of stuff! I do like art deco, art nouveau, victorian, gothic, psychedelic art, horror,surrealism, lowbrow art, bio-mechanics, japanese, balinese, thai, and just about any good illustrations.I like classical painting very much also. Of course, all new projects are welcome although sometimes there is a bit of a wait, e-mails and telephone calls are happily accepted!
